Cannabis Transport & Delivery Agent

Drecisco Farms, LLC is an Illinois Cannabis Craft Grower and Manufacturer located in Marengo, IL. We are currently seeking a Cannabis Transport & Delivery Agent to join our team.

Statement of Purpose: This individual is primarily responsible for securely transporting cannabis products from Marengo, IL to various locations around Illinois.

This position will report directly to the Chief Operations Officer.

Specific activities include but are not limited to:

• Transport cannabis products from Marengo, IL to various locations around Illinois
• Navigate a variety of routes throughout delivery area
• Drive company vehicle(s) efficiently and safely
• Validate the accuracy of each delivery and ensure deliveries are made using controlled methods
• Maintaining quality control by visually inspecting cannabis products and packaging to ensure consistency in product standards; ensuring labeling and product counts are accurate
• Maintain compliance and follow all applicable company SOPs
• Effectively communicate any issues directly to their Supervisor
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois Driver’s License
• At least 1 year of professional driving experience
• Safe and clean driving record
• High School diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) is required
• Knowledge of the cannabis industry a plus, but not required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Basic math, computer and problem solving skills
• Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Meet criteria for social equity per the definition under The Cannabis Regulation and Tax Act (CRTA) 410 ILCS 705
• Ability to pass background check is required
